This project has two main goals: by encouraging local producers to focus or native products to be used to create gastronomic dishes with their identity, we develop tourism and generate income; designing games and strategies to guide kids to eat more healthy food in order to reduce childhood obesity and increase life quality. On the first group, homemade dishes are presented more appealing by designing packaging and presentation, putting in value recipes using local products. The results of this project are not only the products themselves, but the increase of knowledge of people history and origins, enhancing self-esteem and citizenship. Working with primary schools students and their parents, kids learned more about eating. New recipes presented vegetable and fruits in different ways, more tasty and easy to handle, so that they can reproduce them at home. Parents are invited to work with school nutritionist, students and designers to reduce obesity among children.
